New Home Lumber Prices Increasing

From March 2020 to September 2020 average lumber prices nation-wide increase 220%. As a result, the average price of new has increased by $16,148. The following NASDAQ charts show the significant rise in lumber costs. As of October, lumber prices are declining, but still remain far higher than in March.
